Saturday! Wow! What a day!

We say WOW! We got up early today and ran to the market to try to purchase some souvenirs and then to the Metro (local Kinkos) before traveling back to the Port Muron market and then to the church building by 11:00 a.m. to make the group trip to the beach that was planned by the members.

Everyone was so excited. Except for one the couples at the congregation no one owns a car and would not be able to afford the hour long trip to the beach. We rode in an excursion truck. Rick called it a Mitsubishi bob truck. About 45 people made the trip. The members of the congregation took all the food and everyone played together in the water. While at the ocean, Sabrina Ragbeer, 14 years old, decided to be baptized. She has been a tremendous help for the past two years during Vacation Bible School and had told us last year that she would be baptized this year. During the past year she was hit by a motorcycle and could have died. She has not completely recovered as of yet. We are so thankful that she has made the decision to become a Christian.
Upon returning to the hotel we spent the remainder of the evening packing and getting ready for the trip back to the capital city of Georgetown following the services tomorrow. During the services tomorrow Rick will lead singing, Steve will preach, and some the rest of us will teach the children's class.
Praise God for Sabrina's decision to put on Christ in baptism!
